- To provide a rich collaboration experience Gyaan provides integration with Microsoft Office 365. Gyaan syncs Emails and Calendar invites related to Sales Opportunities.
- Gyaan’s Microsoft Office 365 Application is built on standard OAuth 2.0 protocol. Application requests only read access to the user’s Email and Calendar. The detailed set of permissions is listed below.
- Gyaan’s Office 365 OAuth App will also provide ability to provide Single Sign In functionality for users who do not have Salesforce Login. This functionality can be enabled for specific set of users and only authorized users can use this option.
- Gyaan can access Emails and Calendars for those users who has setup the integration. Next section elaborate Integration steps in more detail.
Setting up Gyaan and Office 365 Integration
- Sign in to Gyaan Application using Salesforce SSO. The integration.
- Goto Settings → Integration → Linked Application and click on Sign In With Office 365.
- The user will be redirected to the Microsoft Consent Page. The page clearly shows the Verified Status of the Gyaan OAuth Application and the list of permissions Gyaan is requesting.
- Based on your Organisation’s User Consent Settings user can send an approval request.
- Admin can review the approval request here
- Once Admin approves the app all the users should be able to integrate their Email and Calendar into Gyaan.
